Corporate Offsites in Kashmir
Almost every corporate programme run in Kashmir is sold by an agency in Delhi, Mumbai or Bengaluru and then subcontracted down to an operator in Srinagar. Every hand in that chain takes a margin, and when something goes wrong at nine at night — a road closed by snow, a venue double-booked, a delegate in hospital — the people who can actually fix it are the ones furthest from the contract.
We are that operator. Contracting with us directly removes a layer of margin and, more usefully, a layer of blame: there is one company accountable for the venue, the fleet, the permits and the person standing in the lobby at seven in the morning.
What we handle
-
01
Venue sourcing
Conference and banquet space in Srinagar, resort properties in Gulmarg and Pahalgam, whole houseboats for smaller leadership groups. We site-inspect rather than forwarding you a brochure, and we will tell you which properties do not deliver what their photographs promise.
-
02
Ground transport at scale
Our own vehicles and drivers, sized and staged for the group, with staggered movements so fifty delegates are not queuing for one gondola cabin. Airport and Nowgam station transfers included and manifest-managed.
-
03
Programme and activities
Built around what the offsite is for. Snow activities and the gondola at Gulmarg in winter; shikara races and a houseboat dinner on Dal Lake; Lidder valley walks at Pahalgam; the saffron harvest at Pampore in late October; papier-mâché and walnut-wood sessions with artisans in the old city.
-
04
Permits and compliance
Inner-line permits for Gurez, filming and drone permissions where required, and the local approvals that outside agencies routinely discover too late. We handle these as routine because we live inside the process.
-
05
On-site coordination
A named coordinator with the group for the duration, plus our Srinagar office answering around the clock. Not a phone number in another state that goes to voicemail at eight in the evening.
-
06
Contracting and invoicing
One consolidated GST invoice to the company rather than a stack of vendor bills, and we will work to your procurement process and payment terms.
Sizing it correctly
Gulmarg's venue ecosystem comfortably suits groups of roughly 25 to 120 — large enough for a real offsite, small enough that a single property can hold you and the programme stays coherent. This is the sweet spot, and it is where most of what makes Kashmir memorable actually sits.
Above 200 delegates, the honest structure is a Srinagar city venue for plenary sessions with Gulmarg reserved for the incentive or breakout leg. Attempting a 300-person plenary at 2,650 m in a resort town is how programmes come apart, and we will say so at the proposal stage rather than after you have signed.
Good to know
September and October are the window
Stable weather, the clearest light of the year, and rates well below the May–June family peak. For a snow-led incentive programme, January and February. We would avoid the summer school holidays entirely for corporate groups.
Build in a weather day
The gondola closes for wind and the Jammu highway closes for snow. Any winter programme with a hard departure deadline needs slack, and any outdoor session needs an indoor alternative already booked.
Connectivity is workable, not guaranteed
Srinagar and Gulmarg properties have reliable connectivity for a hybrid session; Gurez and the upper valleys do not. If a session must be streamed, we will tell you where that is realistic.
Book the block early
Corporate blocks compete with the leisure season for the same rooms. Four to six months out for a large autumn programme, and earlier for New Year.
Questions people ask
Gulmarg's venue ecosystem suits groups of roughly 25 to 120 — large enough for a proper offsite, small enough that one property can hold you. For plenaries above 200, the practical structure is main sessions at a Srinagar city venue with Gulmarg kept for the incentive or breakout leg.
We are the destination management company on the ground in Srinagar. Most Kashmir corporate programmes are sold by an agency in another city and subcontracted down to an operator here — you are contracting with the end of that chain directly, which removes a layer of margin and a layer of blame.
Yes. Corporate bookings are contracted and invoiced to the company with GST, on a single consolidated invoice rather than a stack of vendor bills, and we can work to your procurement and payment-terms requirements.

September and October are ideal — stable weather, clear light, and rates well below the family-holiday peak of May and June. January and February suit a snow-led incentive programme. We would avoid the summer school break for corporate groups: you pay peak rates and share every venue with holidaymakers.
